Pairs Category

It will consist of 2 phases: preliminary round and final

Pairs Preliminary Round: a maximum of 400 pairs will participate, divided into 2 groups (A, B) with a maximum of 200 pairs per group.

In the pairs qualifier, participants can sit at shared tables, regardless of the actual number of participants.

Each participating pair will receive 1 Trefl high-quality puzzle of 500 pieces hidden in an opaque bag that they cannot discover until the beginning of the event, and they must assemble it in a maximum time of 75 minutes, with the first 50 pairs classified in each group entering the final.

All pairs will participate on a single table in the final.

Pairs Final: 100 pairs will participate (50 classified from each preliminary groups). The European Champion pair will be the one who manages to finish an unpublished and unique 1000-piece Trefl jigsaw puzzle in the shortest time, or in the case of no pair finishing within the maximum period of 2 hours, the one who has placed the most pieces correctly.

The registration fee for pairs is €40 per pair. The amount includes the puzzle of the preliminary round, and the remaining puzzle if you qualify for the final.

Participants may keep the puzzles.
